Duties & Responsibilities
- Establishing and developing procurement framework and processes including end-2-end contract strategies through complete contracts lifecycle tracking and supplier performance management.
- Identify and develop reliable sources of supply
- Establish adequate record keeping and issuance procedures
- Translate operating forecasts into material requirements plans and there determine standard stock reorder levels.
- Ensure products and resources are assigned to the appropriate department and billed accordingly
- Participate in negotiations for service contracts
- Prepare procurement repots
- Perform risk assessment on potential contracts and agreements
- Develop procurement strategies that are inventive and cost effective
- Respond to internal and external supply inquiries
- Manage existing and vendor and supplier relationships
- Develop and implement sourcing strategy to optimize costs and to ensure continuity of supply of critical products and equipment
Requirements
- Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant course
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role
- Experienced in the food service supply chain practices
- Knowledge of some category areas within food and beverage
- Analytical and negotiations skills
- Excellent team player
- Experience in implementing new technologies (e.g. ERP modules)
